my wife and I visited Jamaica for a week a few years ago and I must say that it is an absolute DUMP! If you choose to leave the hotel compound and you have white skin then you must know that you will be either followed, attacked, robbed OR they will try to sell you drugs and other stupid useless items that aren’t worth anything.. Like I said, we stayed for 7 days and every time we left the compound something bad happened. We were followed, tried to sell us drugs and tried to rob us. S*H*I*T HOLE

why did the tourists choose to travell so far in an unfamiliar place by themself????? strange indeed, are they into illegal activities?
This is a unfortunate incident, I feel bad for them, this puts a damp on Jamaica, thier vacation is ruin. They was not the target, its unfortunate they were @ the wrong pl, and time.Even though that happen, a good samaritan help them out. to the hospital. see now, i think these r tourists that decided to venture off on their own because my family being from jamaica they tell us not to drive through certain parts of kingston and if we have to we take off all out jewelry and try to seem inconspicuous. these white tourists in a nice rental should not have been in kingston by themselves
We have to understand where the guns and ammunitions are coming from. You see the FISHERMEN of jamaica are behind most the importation of the illegal fire arms. when they load their boats of marijuana and sail out to about 60 miles and meet up with other fishermen from Haiti, they exchange high power gun for drugs.Then they come back and sell those guns for a profit, then the rest are coming in from the ports in tv ,microwaves, VCRs etc
